Museum Island

Museuminsel (Museum Island) is a small island in the Spree River in Berlin Germany.  It marks the location of the first Berlin settlement back in the 13th century.

In addition to a number of top museums, the Berliner Dom (Berlin Cathedral) can be found on the island.
