The Alexanderplatz railway station (Bahnhof Alexanderplatz) is a busy train station for regional trains.   It is located next to the Berlin TV Tower in the heart of Berlin.

Originally constructed in 1882, the station provides S-Bahn (commuter rail) train service from the centre of Berlin Germany, in addition to regional train service.

Passengers can also connect directly to the Berlin Metro System (U-Bahn) from Alexanderplatz Railway Station.

The three connecting U-Bahn lines are: U2, U5 and U8.
